Water Prices?

I always see at vending machines at my school with water in them. But something that gets to me is the price. It ranges from $1.00-1.25. I don't understand it. For a natural resource you pay that much. Might as well go to your sink and fill up an aluminum water bottle than to pay for that. It's horrible.
Yes, I know you have to make some money from the manufacturing of the bottle itself, but how much does plastic cost considering most of it is being redeemed for money to (hopefully) be used again.
But when you think about it, water is a natural resource. There is springs and oceans filled with gallons upon gallons of water. I know that there aren't as many "springs" as oceans and oceans are made from salt water so it isn't useable. But springs are everywhere. They aren't that rare to be worth $1.25. If you look at the side of a Poland Springs water bottle, it lists all of the springs where the water came from. There is about 15-20 of them at least.
But yet again, something feels strange about this water coming from different "springs" shouldn't the company find one or two and just stick with it? And when it comes to mind all water is the same and could be coming from the same springs and there is different pricing. The marketing of water must be hard because you cannot really describe how your companies water is better than yours. All water is pure (at least we hope). So the only way they can make profit is to sell it for cheap. Your better off buying water in packs.

Gender Equality

Women never get the attention they deserve. Apparently baseball over softball and men's soccer over theirs. I never actually knew there was a women's march madness because it is hidden on their website as if they felt ashamed of them.
Apparently all smarts only apply to men. Men always have good ideas. Women apparently do not. What does not make sense is that men are allowed to play softball but women cannot play baseball. It's unfair.
Not only that Women get made fun- weakness of thunder, how long they take to get ready and all the rest of the population think that ALL women do that. Not really.
But even education is that way. Schools require women to have higher grades than men. For men a grade on the SAT might have to range from a 600-800. Women scores would require 800 or above. What's the difference? It discourages women to do what they want to do and to go to another college for something they might not have wanted to research because of it.
All I am trying to say is it took so long to get women's right to vote, but there is still gender discrimination on campuses all around. It's not really fair now is it? The U.S is violating women's constitutional rights. It's gotten better compared to the past, but barely.
