Corrupt Marketing?
Everyone knows it... Those adds for ice cream, fast food or really anything make you hungry and by the time you buy it, it looks horrible- droopy, melting mess. Ironic? I think not. Here's some tricks:
Ice Cream? More like mash potatoes. This makes it so that when they are filming a commercial it doesn't melt and looks nice and even unlike when we scoop it. It's just a huge melted glop.
Burgers: I watched a video on this. They hired a food stylus! It's pretty much a make-up artist for food.
Here's how it goes:
1. They only cook the burger for 20 seconds on each side so it doesn't shrink.
2. They brand them (in other words put grill marks) with a skewer.
3. They find a "perfect bun" then glue on sesame seeds
4. They put a piece of cardboard under the burger so it doesn't soag it up.
5. Sometimes the cut a v out so it makes it look bigger.
I'll let you see the video yourself. I believe it's called "Making A Commercial Burger" so just look it up on youtube.
